Welcome to Wild Atlantic Shanty. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our IPTV Ireland service, our website at wildatlanticshanty.ie, and any related products. By subscribing to our service, claiming a free trial, or using any part of what we offer, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. Simple as.

1 About These Terms

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "the customer", "the user") and Wild Atlantic Shanty ("we", "us", "our"). They apply to every visitor, free trial user, and paying subscriber of our IPTV Ireland service.

We've written them in plain English on purpose. If anything here is unclear, you can always reach us on WhatsApp at +44 7988 548254 or through our contact page, and we'll explain.

Heads up: By using the service, you confirm that you've read, understood, and accepted these Terms. We may update them from time to time โ€” see Section 15.

2 Definitions

To save confusion, here's what we mean by certain words throughout these Terms:

  • "Service" means our IPTV Ireland streaming service, including the channel feed, video-on-demand library, EPG, customer support, and the website itself.
  • "Subscription" means any paid plan you take out with us โ€” 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months.
  • "Free Trial" means the no-cost 24-hour preview of the service granted at our discretion.
  • "Credentials" means the username, password, and M3U URL we issue you to access the service.
  • "Content" means all live channels, on-demand titles, programme guides, and any other media accessible through the Service.
  • "Device" means any hardware on which you access the Service (Firestick, Smart TV, phone, tablet, MAG box, computer, etc.).

3 The Service We Provide

Wild Atlantic Shanty operates an IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) streaming service that delivers live TV channels and video-on-demand Content through your broadband connection. We act as a technology provider โ€” we operate servers, software, customer support, and a content delivery network that route streams to your Device.

3.1 What you get

  • Access to 25,000+ live channels including major Irish, UK, US, European and global broadcasters.
  • A library of over 100,000 on-demand titles (films, series, documentaries, kids' content).
  • An electronic programme guide (EPG) with 7-day forward planning.
  • 4K, Full HD, HD and SD streaming options depending on your bandwidth and device.
  • 24/7 customer support via WhatsApp.

3.2 What we don't do

We do not host, store, produce, broadcast, encode, or own any of the Content streamed through the Service. We do not act as a content broadcaster or licence holder. All Content originates from upstream providers and is routed via our infrastructure to subscribers.

Legal note: IPTV technology itself is fully legal in Ireland and across the EU โ€” it's the same underlying tech used by Netflix, RTร‰ Player, and Sky Stream. Customers are solely responsible for ensuring their use of any specific Content complies with the laws and licensing rules in their jurisdiction.

4 Eligibility & Your Account

To use Wild Atlantic Shanty, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority where you live).
  • Provide accurate contact details when subscribing.
  • Have a stable internet connection of at least 10 Mbps for HD viewing or 25 Mbps for 4K viewing.
  • Use a compatible Device.

4.1 Your credentials

When you take out a Subscription or Free Trial, we issue you a unique set of Credentials. These are personal to you. You must:

  • Keep your username, password, and M3U link confidential.
  • Not share, sell, redistribute, sublicense, or publicly post your Credentials.
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

Sharing kills the service. If we detect that your Credentials are being used on more devices than your plan allows, or shared outside your household, we may suspend or terminate your account without refund.

5 Subscriptions & Pricing

Our IPTV Ireland Subscription plans are listed on our subscription page. Current pricing (as of the date above) is:

  • 1 Month: โ‚ฌ12.99 โ€” 1 device connection.
  • 3 Months: โ‚ฌ24.99 โ€” 2 device connections.
  • 6 Months: โ‚ฌ34.99 โ€” 3 device connections.
  • 12 Months: โ‚ฌ49.99 โ€” 4 device connections (most popular).

All prices are in euros and include any applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time, but any change will only apply to new Subscriptions taken out after the change โ€” existing Subscriptions are honoured at the price you paid.

5.1 No auto-renewal

We do not auto-renew Subscriptions. When your plan reaches its end date, the Service simply stops. You are free to renew manually if you wish โ€” no surprise charges, ever.

6 Free Trial Terms

We offer a complimentary 24-hour IPTV free trial at our sole discretion to let prospective customers test the Service before subscribing. The Free Trial is governed by these specific terms:

  • The Free Trial is limited to 24 hours from the time Credentials are issued.
  • It is restricted to 1 device connection.
  • Each individual or household is entitled to one Free Trial.
  • No payment details are required to claim the Free Trial.
  • We reserve the right to refuse, restrict, or revoke a Free Trial at any time without notice.
  • At the end of the 24 hours, the Free Trial automatically ends โ€” there is no auto-billing or rollover.

To claim your Free Trial, just message us on WhatsApp. We'll send your Credentials within 5โ€“15 minutes.

7 Payment & Billing

7.1 Accepted methods

We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Revolut, and major cryptocurrencies. All transactions are processed by encrypted, third-party payment gateways used by major Irish retailers. We do not store your full card details on our systems.

7.2 When activation happens

Once your payment is confirmed, we issue your Credentials within 5 minutes (95% of the time). If you haven't received them within 30 minutes, contact us on WhatsApp and we'll resolve it the same day.

7.3 Currency & taxes

All Subscriptions are priced in euros. If your card or account is denominated in another currency, your bank will convert the amount at its prevailing rate; any conversion fees are your responsibility. Where applicable, prices include VAT and any required Irish or EU consumption taxes.

7.4 Failed or disputed payments

If a payment fails, is reversed, or is disputed (chargeback) without contacting us first, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate the affected Subscription immediately and without refund. We strongly encourage you to message us on WhatsApp before raising any chargeback โ€” we resolve 99% of issues within hours.

8 Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on every paid Subscription. If you're not happy with the Service, you can request a full refund within 7 calendar days of your activation date.

8.1 How to request a refund

  1. Message us on WhatsApp at +44 7988 548254 within 7 days of activation.
  2. Briefly explain why the Service didn't meet your expectations (this helps us improve).
  3. We process the refund the same day, usually within 1โ€“4 hours.

8.2 What's not eligible

  • Refund requests made after the 7-day window has passed.
  • Free Trial users (no payment was made โ€” nothing to refund).
  • Subscriptions terminated for breach of these Terms (see Section 9).
  • Refund requests where the issue is your own internet connection or hardware failure (we'll always try to help fix it first).
  • Subscriptions paid for via cryptocurrency are refunded in the equivalent crypto value at time of refund โ€” exchange rate variations are not our responsibility.

8.3 Partial refunds

For long-term plans (6 or 12 months) that you wish to cancel mid-term outside the 7-day window, we may offer a pro-rata partial refund at our discretion. This is reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

9 Acceptable Use

By using the Service, you agree to use it lawfully and respectfully. You must NOT:

  • Share, resell, sublicence, or redistribute your Credentials or the Service to anyone outside your household.
  • Use the Service for commercial broadcasting (e.g. in a pub, gym, hotel, or business premises) without a separate commercial licence.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, mirror, or extract content from our streams.
  • Use bots, scripts, or automated systems to access the Service.
  • Bypass any geo-restrictions, security measures, or device limits we apply.
  • Use the Service in a way that violates the laws or regulations of your country of residence.
  • Abuse, harass, or threaten our customer support staff.
  • Engage in fraudulent payment activity, chargebacks without prior contact, or identity misuse.

Breach of any of the above may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your Subscription, with no refund.

10 Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, brand names, channel marks, and Content available through the Service remain the property of their respective owners. Wild Atlantic Shanty makes no claim of ownership over any third-party Content streamed via our infrastructure.

The Wild Atlantic Shanty name, logo, website design, and all original written content on wildatlanticshanty.ie are ยฉ 2026 Wild Atlantic Shanty and may not be reproduced without written permission.

11 Service Availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime and have invested in redundant Irish and UK servers, anti-freeze technology, and load balancers to make that a reality. However, we cannot guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free at all times. Reasons for occasional disruption may include:

  • Scheduled maintenance (we'll usually announce these in advance via WhatsApp).
  • Upstream provider outages outside our control.
  • Internet service provider (ISP) issues at your end.
  • Major weather events, power outages, or force majeure.
  • Geo-restrictions enforced by content rights holders.

11.1 Compensation for major outages

If we experience a verified outage lasting more than 24 continuous hours that affects you, we'll add equivalent free time to your Subscription as a goodwill gesture. We do not provide cash compensation for short interruptions.

12 Privacy & Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously and comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Act.

12.1 What we collect

  • Your name and contact details (email, WhatsApp number) โ€” to deliver Credentials and provide support.
  • Payment confirmation data from our payment gateways (we do NOT store full card details).
  • Anonymous service-quality data (server load, stream latency, uptime metrics).
  • Basic device and IP information for fraud prevention and to enforce device-limit rules.

12.2 What we don't do

  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.
  • We do not log or share your viewing history with anyone, including ISPs.
  • We do not embed third-party tracking pixels in our streams.

12.3 Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, port, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us via WhatsApp or email hello@wildatlanticshanty.ie. We respond to data requests within 30 days as required by law.

13 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Irish law:

  • The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of fitness for any specific purpose beyond what is reasonably implied.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
  • Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • We are not responsible for any content broadcast by upstream providers, nor for any opinions, accuracy, or legality of programming you choose to watch.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Irish or EU consumer law.

14 Termination

14.1 Termination by you

You can cancel a Subscription at any time by simply not renewing. There is no auto-billing, so cancelling is effectively automatic โ€” your Service ends on the expiry date. If you want a refund within 7 days of activation, see Section 8.

14.2 Termination by us

We may suspend or terminate your Subscription immediately, without refund, if:

  • You breach these Terms (especially Section 9 โ€” Acceptable Use).
  • Your payment fails, is reversed, or charged back without prior contact.
  • You attempt fraudulent activity or identity misrepresentation.
  • Required by law, court order, or regulatory authority.

15 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Service, payment methods, or applicable law. When we do:

  • The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change.
  • For significant changes, we'll notify active subscribers via WhatsApp or email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
  • Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

If you don't agree to a material change, you can request a pro-rata refund of any unused portion of your current Subscription.

16 Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply.

If you are a consumer based in the European Union, you have the right to bring proceedings in your local courts and may also use the EU's Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

17 Contact & Disputes

If you have any questions, complaints, or disputes about these Terms or the Service, please contact us first โ€” we resolve almost everything quickly and informally.

We aim to acknowledge all formal complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within 14 days. If we cannot reach a satisfactory resolution, you may escalate to the relevant consumer protection body in your country.
